In Take-Two’s recent earnings report, it was confirmed that GTA 6 is still scheduled for a Fall 2025 release, meaning we can expect it between September and December. Rumors about a delay circulated after a false claim that a second trailer was coming soon, but this confirmation puts those fears to rest.

As part of the same report, Take-Two also reaffirmed that Borderlands 4 is slated for a 2025 release—though it will likely launch after GTA 6.

The upcoming Assassin’s Creed Shadows will require a massive 123.2GB of storage, according to a listing on the Mac App Store. Compared to Far Cry 6 (which was around 200GB), it’s not the largest out there, but it’s still significantly bigger than Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which launched at just 47GB before ballooning to around 160GB with updates. Given modern hardware and advancements in gaming, this file size isn’t too surprising.

Battlefield’s Comeback – What’s Next for the Franchise?

Battlefield portal gameplay

The latest Battlefield teaser hints at a return to form. A pre-alpha gameplay clip showed off BF Labs, where destructible environments—once a staple of the franchise—are back.

EA has now formed a dedicated Battlefield Studios, bringing together talent from DICE, Ripple Effect, Motive, and Criterion. The next game will also bring back a single-player campaign and a class-based system. The BF Labs project allows players to provide direct feedback, with registrations opening soon. If all goes well, we might see the game before April 2026.

Dragon Age: Veilguard – Sales Struggle & EA’s Response

Dragon age veilguard - Dragon growling

In its earnings call, EA admitted that Dragon Age: Veilguard didn’t meet expectations, saying it “did not resonate with a broad enough audience.” While some new players were excited, longtime fans were disappointed with the combat changes. Many felt it strayed too far from its RPG roots. Additionally, the marketing was minimal, making it difficult for the game to gain traction.

Hopefully, BioWare’s Mass Effect project won’t suffer the same fate.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is a massive hit, earning an 88 Metacritic score. Fans praised the improved story, combat, and side quests. It sold over 1 million copies in its first week—an impressive milestone for Warhorse Studios’ second game.

I’m still on my first playthrough of the original, and once I finish, I’ll share my thoughts before diving into the sequel.
