Man, I swear, I just saw the story trailer for the Lies of P DLC and I’m buzzing! Seriously, I haven’t been this excited for DLC in ages. Let’s break down what got me so hyped.

First off, the sound design. The snow crunch? Pure ASMR. I could listen to that for hours. And the background music? Forget about it! It’s haunting, beautiful, everything I wanted. It sets the perfect tone.

Okay, so let’s dig into what the trailer actually hinted at. Man, it’s clear they’re going heavy on the feels. They’re talking about a song that triggers these deep memories, which just screams nostalgia, right? You know those tunes that just transport you? It’s clear they’re tapping into something deep here.

And then, bam, they hit you with ‘now you belong to the past,’ and you just feel this wave of loss. It’s that bittersweet feeling of something slipping away, you know? You can feel the emotion in every word. But it’s not all doom and gloom.

They show these moments of playing together, those shared experiences that just stick with you. It’s the kind of stuff that really gets to you. And then, the line about never saying farewell? That’s just a gut punch. We’ve all been there, those moments you wish you could take back. It’s raw and real.

But even with all that, they hit you with ‘but we endured,’ and that’s the spirit, right? It’s about pushing through, no matter what. And then, they throw in this idea of crossing time to meet again? That’s some epic stuff. It’s hopeful, exciting. Plus, knowing it’s coming summer 2025? Mark my calendar, because I’m ready to dive back in.

My Thoughts:

Seriously, this trailer is hitting all the right notes. I played Lies of P on Game Pass at launch, but I need it in my Steam library. I’m waiting for that summer sale, so I can replay it before this DLC drops. And trust me, I’m buying this DLC day one. No question.

This DLC is looking like it will be amazing, and I can’t wait to play it.
